The video of each flight is an edited version of highlights of about 5 minutes duration.

Part 2 has just 3 flights with various live weather including lots of cloud and rain. There is a short video of each flight plus additional videos that might be of interest. The video's now have spoken voice information instead of text.

This is the flight from Sioux Falls to Sioux City on 16/8/21 in the Citation Longitude business jet.
The distance was just 85nm and it was flown at an altitude of 8,000 ft with few clouds.
The flight was uneventful, landings are improving. There is also a video of how the Citation jet is started up and also one showing pushback and taxying.

Sioux Falls is a city in South Dakota. The Big Sioux River tumbles over a series of rock faces in Falls Park, the best known of 70 parks in Sioux Falls.

Sioux Indians occupied the area when the town site, which was named for the falls of the river, was founded in 1857 by land speculators.

In 1862 the conflict between the Sioux and the settlers in southwestern Minnesota spilled over into Sioux Falls, and the town was abandoned and burned. Fort Dakota was established on the site three years later, and settlers began to return.

The arrival of the railroad in 1878 contributed greatly to population growth; today the city is headquarters of the Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern Railroad Corporation and the Iowa, Chicago & Eastern Railroad Corporation.

The next flight is from Sioux City to Chicago in the Citation Longitude business jet.
The distance was 420nm and it was flown at an altitude of 21,000 ft in rainy weather to start then it got better .
It was a long flight over the flat lands of Iowa and Illinois. After landing at O Hare, one of the busiest airports in the world, we took off in a small Cessna light aircraft to get a good look at the city of Chicago with it's abundance of skyscrapers

The area of Sioux City, Iowa was inhabited by Yankton Sioux when it was first reached by Spanish and French furtrappers in the 18th century.

Theophile Bruguier, a French-Canadian fur trader, is considered the first white settler on land that would become Sioux City. According to one legend, he told his friend Chief War Eagle of the Yankton Sioux about a dream he had regarding a rich land where two rivers joined near a high bluff. War Eagle told him that he knew of this land, near the mouth of the Big Sioux River. Dr. Cook established the little town of Sioux City in 1854,

It is interesting that Genocide has been world news when committed in Europe and other countries, but there has been no mention of the biggest genocide of all times, committed against the native indians of the USA.

This is the flight from Chicago to Detroit Michigan on the 22/8/21 in the Citation Longitude business jet.
The distance was 119nm and it was flown at an altitude of 10,500 ft in Rain and thick cloud .
The flight was ok but no visibility until between cloud layers. Good views of cloud formations. Could not see the airport until we were on the glideslope but a good landing in a cross wind.

Since the 1850's Chicago has been one of the dominant metropolises in the midwestern United States, and has been the largest city in the midwest since the 1880 census. It has a skyline punctuated by skyscrapers.
It is famous for Chicago style hot dogs and pizza, jazz music and 1920s gangsters such as Al Capone.
It is also known for the Chicago O' Hare international airport, one of the largest and busiest in the world.
