14 March 2009 Barbecue unit fitted on veranda. No real progress since 8th February. Very disappointing. This project is now 12 months late. I'm glad we have penalty clauses in the contract.

29 March 2009 Hot and cold water tanks plus solar panel on flat roof. The hot water is heated by the solar panel whenever the sun is shining. It can also be heated by the central heating and by immersion heater. The stonework has been pointed.

29 March 2009 Another picture of the covered veranda. The roof will be tiled and railings provided along the front. Some good news - after the torrential rain this last week, the basement remained dry.
