10 October 2008 Finishing coats of rendering on outside.

24 October 2008 Preparing for verandas at the rear. The one outside the lounge is covered, with steps down to the other. Further steps lead down to the swimming pool where you can see the break in the retaining wall. The veranda floors should be laid in the next week and then the swimming pool will be excavated.

5 November 2008 Excavation for the swimming pool. The swimming pool is not built using shuttering, it is constructed using pre-built metal frames.

5 November 2008 The arrow points to the main sewerage pipe from the house. The cutting edge sceptic tank will be built here. We are also hoping to install a system that re-cycles 100% of grey water that can be used for cleaning cars, topping up the pool and irrigating the garden. This is expected to be compulsory in Cyprus within a couple of years and sounds a very good idea to us.

8 November 2008 The lounge from the kitchen. The plastering is finished internally and we are now waiting for the tiler to start tiling all the floors.
