The start of excavations for the basement

The basement has a large storage room, a self contained studio with en suite, and a utility room.

Stairs lead down from the kitchen to give access to all these rooms from inside and the studio and the storage room also have access from an outside patio.

Shuttering almost completed.
Next is the steel reinforcement then the concrete.

I have 'pinched' a lot of the excavated earth to fill flower pots at Kallepia.

The steel has been delivered.
This is for the reinforcement of all the concrete slabs and pillars.
